Corde de Moine is a thick wicking wool; It is ideally knitted with needles n°15.
The color is grey/brown: it results from the fleeces that we call "grey": the sheep are of mixed color, with white parts and dark brown parts; the fleeces are washed and spun as is without us being able to sort by color.
To give an idea, a skein allows you to make a square of 60 cm x 60 cm in jersey.

Wool from Breton and Loire farms, which respect a strict breeding charter, such as animal welfare, a healthy diet without pesticides or GMOs and, when necessary, treatments based on natural products.
The fleeces come from sheep of the Landes de Bretagne and Belle-Ile breeds. The various stages of production are all carried out in France.
It is a dry wool that will soften from the 1st wash.
